As Leonardo Da Vinci once stated "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’.
This year Giuseppe Virgone took our breath away with his timeless collection which was described as "simple, yet effective… but still complicated." As models showcased Mr Virgone’s work, an atmosphere soon developed which accentuated the carefully crafted surgically inspired accessories .
As stated by the designer himself ‘I was not destroying the body , only merely bringing out elements of a child’s view of an operation.’ Bright layers of elevated pearls,which form in the shape of a breastplate, compliment the sombre yet chic pret-a-porter collection .
